Create with Cardboard

Strategy & Branding

  • Independent freelance designer

  • Location: QLD, Australia

  • Year: 2023

I guided Courtney in developing her company, Create with Cardboard, helping shape the brand and overall creative strategy. This included developing a cohesive style guide, logo, and packaging, as well as photo shoots and creating content such as stop-motion animations.

The project extended across all touchpoints, from instructive cards and magazine flyers to technical drawings for her products and the design of new product ideas. Each element was considered to create a consistent and meaningful brand experience while supporting the practical needs of her products and storytelling.

The outcome was a fully realised brand system that blends strategy, design, and playful creativity, giving Courtney a strong platform to launch and grow her company.

Mamut

Name & Branding

  • Studio: Ymago Agency

  • Role: Designer

  • Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

  • Year: 2018

I developed the brand identity for Mamut, a furniture studio, starting with the name. The idea emerged from exploring sounds, focusing on the soft warmth of the ‘M’ and the strength and durability suggested by the ‘T’. The resulting name is playful, easy to read across multiple languages, and has international appeal.

The logo incorporates the mammoth as a visual anchor, providing instant recognition and a friendly, memorable character for the brand. I also designed the brochure and instructive cards, ensuring the visual language reflects the studio’s approach to furniture — balanced between warmth, strength, and playfulness.

The outcome is a cohesive identity that communicates the studio’s values and gives the brand a versatile platform to reach a broad, international audience.
